Manufacturers Limited Lifetime Warranty for Precision Series Products

The manufacturer warrants, but only to the original buyer, that every product manufactured by the company and purchased by the Buyer from The Ashlar Company LLC will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal consumer use and that the metal composition of any jewelry item will be as stamped on or inside the item and the quality of any diamonds will be as specified in this order. This warranty does not cover defects, damages, or deterioration due to normal consumer wear and tear, or exposure. In the event of a defect, without charge the Company will either replace the product with the same or similar product, or repair the product, whichever it deems appropriate. In the event that the fineness of the metal is not as warranted, without charge the Company will replace the product with the same or similar product of proper fineness. To obtain performance on this warranty, the product must be returned by Buyer to the manufacturer, insured and postage prepaid by the Buyer, together with an explanation of the manner in which the product does not conform to this warranty.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF THE COMPANY, INCLUDING AN IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. The Company’s liability in connection with the purchase of the product is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of the products that are not as warranted and all other damages (including, without limit, consequential and incidental damages) are expressly waived by Buyer.
Common Warranty Exclusions and Warnings in Plain English
Most warranties are offered through the manufacturer. Performance on a manufacturer's warranty must be obtained directly through the manufacturer unless stated otherwise. Unless you are in a position to hand deliver the item and later pick it up, then this often requires you to pay insured shipping costs for one or both ways. Warranties are for the original buyer only and limited to manufacturing defects. Warranties do not cover normal wear and tear or any defect arising from normal wear and tear. Warranty claims require proof of purchase indicating the date that the item was purchased. Any modification to the warranted item, including but not limited to resizing and refinishing will void your warranty. Warranties do not cover lost parts. Warranties do not cover cracked stones, chipped enamel or any other wear and tear related injury unless explicitly stated. Warranties do not cover gold plating, oxidation, rhodium plating, or any other specialized jewelry finishing option. Warranties do not cover trim emblems on jewelry from becoming loose over time. Warranties do not cover any aspect of the size or fit of the ring. Warranties do not include ring resizing. Warranties do not cover lost stones or lost parts under any circumstances. All warranties apply only to products purchased after 12/31/2015. Unless stated otherwise, all warranties are provided by the manufacturer and not The Ashlar Company LLC. Some manufacturers may require that you first send the item to The Ashlar Company and then that The Ashlar Company return it to the manufacturer.
